Dear Colleagues and Members,
We are pleased to inform you that the statutory elections of ISAU for the biennium 2024-2026 will take place from 9 July 2024 at 10am to 11 July 2024 at 5.00 pm Paris time. On this occasion, we will elect the President as well as members of the Collegium and the Executive of the Association. You will find below the detailed timetable for the elections:
- Closing date for submission of candidatures: 24 June 2024 at 5.00 pm Paris time
- Publication of candidatures: 25 June 2024
- Statutory elections: from 9 July 2024 at 10.00 am to 11 July 2024 at 5.00 pm Paris time (electronic voting for both Headquarters and Field)
- Publication of results: 12 July 2024
As per ISAU Statutes, vote shall be by direct universal suffrage for all statutory bodies of the Association (Collegium, Executive, President).
Right to vote:
All ISAU members who are up to date with their membership fees are eligible to vote. ISAU members at Headquarters and in the Field, Institutes and Units are all invited to take part in these elections, in order to participate in this important moment of the associative life of our Organization. Non-members who wish to vote must join ISAU no later than Friday, 5 July. You will find attached our membership form.
Right to stand as a candidate:
All ISAU members who are up to date with their membership fees as at 31 December 2023 may also stand as a candidate at the elections of the Collegium and Executive. We especially encourage our colleagues in the Field offices to submit their candidature as it is important that Field staff be represented. Only members of the outgoing Collegium, who are up to date with their membership fees as of 31 December 2023, can run for ISAU Presidency.
You will find attached the candidature form which should be filled out and returned by email to [email protected] or in a sealed envelope to ISAU Secretariat (Office 1.28 Bonvin) by 24 June 2024 at 5.00 pm Paris time at the latest.
