The Collegium comprises 40 representatives elected by universal suffrage, with eight representatives per geo-cultural group. Each representative is elected for a two-year term of office.
The Collegium is the governing body of ISAU. Its decisions are binding on the Executive and all other ISAU bodies. It may appoint an ad hoc study group for a specific short-term mission.
The Collegium:
- defines the Association’s general policy on the recommendation of the geo-cultural groups and/or the Executive
- approves the programme
- adopts the budget
- determines the annual subscription fee
- establishes the Association’s financial rules
- gives the Executive discharge from its stewardship
The Collegium meets four times a year. Special meetings may be convened by the Collegiate Coordinator, the President of the Association, or one third of its members.
The Collegium elects three adjudicators and two auditors for a two-year term of office.
