We would like to remind you that the deadline to submit your candidature for the election of the Appeals Board Panel of Members is Wednesday, 27 August 2025.

We wish to highlight that the Appeals Board is an independent body that plays a vital role in safeguarding a fair internal justice system within the Organization. It reviews formal complaints challenging administrative decisions and disciplinary measures, ensuring they are consistent with the Organization’s Staff Rules and Regulations.

Serving as a member of the Appeals Board offers you the opportunity to contribute to this important process by advising on contested decisions and helping to uphold fairness and integrity.

We strongly encourage staff at HQ and in the Field to submit their candidature for the upcoming elections of the Appeals Board.

Dear colleagues,

Please find attached the Information Circular regarding the election of the Panel of Members representing the staff in the Appeals Board for the period from 05 September 2025 to 04 September 2027 (IC/HR/256).

All nominations must reach the Secretariat of the Appeals Board at [email protected] no later than Wednesday, 27 August 2025.

The election will be conducted electronically by secret ballot, from Monday, 01 September to Thursday, 04 September 2025.
